DIY for Valentine's Day

First of all, Happy Valentine's Day! But I know we all celebrate this every single day ;)
I bought Gustavo something for Valentine's Day but, honestly, I wanted to gave him something else... something special! I decided to make him something cute I saw like a year ago, and something else I saw from my bloggy friend Mara Cristina at Paperweight. She made a post about some DIY's for Valentine's Day... so here's how I made both!

DIY: 52 things I love about you

Materials: scissors, paper, a package of cards, sharpie, punch hole, tape and book rings.

Step 1: cut small pieces of paper and taped them to the back of every card.
Step 2: write a title for the "book".
Step 3: make holes to the cards with a hole punch.
Step 4: write short messages on the cards.
Step 5: secure the cards with book rings or you can make a tie with a thread.
Step 6: place the last card facing the other way so you can write a last message with your name.

The best thing about this gift is you can give it to anyone! Boyfriend, mom, dad, sister, best friend, anyone! You can write any title you want, for example, 52 reasons why you are the best mom.
You don't have to use the entire pile of cards but at the same time, if you think that 52 messages are not enough, you can add another pile of cards ;) 100 things that makes us special, 25 reasons why I don't hate you... the choices are endless!

DIY: heart-shaped paper clips

There's just one step: bend the clip at midpoint and that's it! Now you have a heart-shaped paper clip :)

I made these paper clips to place them on an envelope, but you can use them for an entire day just to leave lovely messages around ;)

Here is the result of both DIY's and a little something else for Gustavo

I hope you like the tutorials! Do you think Gustavo will like the gifts? I hope he does ;)

*Gus, I'm so lucky to have you by my side! This relationship has been a blessing. You are, and will always be, the love of my life. Love you!
